GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Aroldis Chapman took part in his first official workout as a Cincinnati Red on Thursday, as pitchers and catchers reported to the spring training complex.CNati.com was there to watch Chapman's first day with the team.

Chapman's delivery looks pretty good. Nice, smooth, doesn't fall off the side, straight towards the dish. Less strain on the elbow and shoulder. He's throwing hard but by the look of his body you'd never know it. Does he throw a changeup and if so, if his delivery is the same then he's deadly. Good pick up by the Reds!!!

It is nice to see another Cuban in the Cincinnati area. I am really looking forward to see what Chapman can do. I would like to get his jersey but will 54 be his regular roster number....?
