* Top 1: Aaron Miles singles, but is caught stealing. Burke grounds out. Votto walks. Gomes flies out. Redlegs 0, Giants 0
* Bottom 1: Wood gets Torres looking. It's 360 to left here, but still no doubt on the shot by Renteria. 1-0. E4 on DeRosa's grounder. Miles backhanded the ball and left it on the ground. Aubrey Huff goes yard, too. Then Bengie Molina hits one to Juan Francisco at third, it's botched. But because Molina is running, Francisco has time to track the ball down and throw Molina out at first. Any other player in the league would be at second by then. Uribe walks. Bowker goes down swinging to end the rough inning for Wood. One of the runs was unearned. Giants 3, Redlegs 0
* Top 2: 1-2-3 for the Reds with Francisco striking out. Giants 3, Redlegs 0
* Bottom 2: Two strikeouts and a hit by pitch, then a pickoff. 1-3-6. Giants 3, Redlegs 0
* Top 3: And another 1-2-3. Giants 3, Redlegs 0
* Bottom 3: 5-3. Then DeRosa crushes one to short, Janish knocks it down, but can't get DeRosa. Four-pitch walk to Huff. Flyout by Molina. It's one of those days today, I don't know why I'm not all that motivated, but you know, it's just... It's spring. THis place is packed, though, I think it may be as full here as it was in Mesa. Popup to Janish. Giants 3, Redlegs 0
* Top 4: Single by Burke. Hit & run, and it almost backfied because it could have knocked Burke out or been right where one of the middle infielders was going. Just a rope up the middle -- this time he missed the pitcher. Gomes swings at three straight pitches. Wellemeyer nearly got Joey Votto on the old fake to third, fake to first, but Votto recovered quickly -- he was off on the pitch and because Wellemeyer went to third first, Votto was able to scamper back. Great play by Aubrey Huff, diving to take a hit away from Juan Francisco and then throwing to second to double up Votto. Giants 3, Redlegs 0
* Bottom 4: Mike Leake in. Wood's line 3 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 4 Ks, 2 HR. Single by Bowker to start the inning. Really nice play on Burke to track down a Schierholtz liner. Wellemeyer lays down a bunt, Leake gets the runner at second. Torres singles down the first-base line. And a fly-out. Giants 3, Redlegs 0
* Top 5: Heisey walks and Janish hits one to right, moving Heisey to third. That breaks up Leake with one out and runners on the corners. Leake strikes out and Cairo, in for Miles, pops up. Giants 3, Redlegs 0
* Bottom 5: Cairo stays in, Laynce Nix in center for Burke, Dorn at first, Balentien in right, Frazier at third. Molina singles and is taken out of ra pinch runner. E6 on Janish. A rare one. Looks like he just mis-judged the hop. It's called a baehit, I'd already written down E6 -- hometown scoring for Uribe, I guess. He was hitting .167 and needed it, I guess. A single by Bowker to left makes it 4-0. Giants 4, Redlegs 0
* Top 6: Castillo in at catcher, Cozart at short and Luis Terrero in left.
* Bottom 7: I was down talking to Wood and Mike Leake gave up two more runs. He's done for the day. Logan Ondrusek in for the Reds. He gives up a lead-off double and then the runner goes to third after a dlyoutto deep center. But then he gets a popup on the infield and a K to get out of the inning. Nice work. Giants 6, Redlegs 0
* Top 8: Sergio Romo pitching for the Giants.
* Bottom 8: 1-2-3 for Ondrusek. Giants 6, Redlegs 0
Final -- Giants 6, Redlegs 0
