Fisher called up, Ondrusek to AAA

The Reds have optioned RHP Logan Ondrusek to Class AAA Louisville and recalled RHP Carlos Fisher.

Fisher made six appearances for the Bats, throwing eight scoreless innings. He struck out eight, walked one and allowed just one hit for Louisville.

Fisher appeared in 39 games for the Reds last season and had a 1-1 record with a 4.47 ERA. He walked 31 and struck out 48 in 52.1 innings and had six wild pitches.

Ondrusek didn't allow a run in spring, but gave up 12 hits and 10 runs in eight innings this season, walking five and striking out four. He allowed four runs on four hits in two innings of Wednesday night's 14-6 loss to the Dodgers.
