Leon Hall
Hall was tied for the team lead with six interceptions, along with fellow cornerback Johnathan Joseph. The two combined to make arguably the best cornerback tandem in the NFL.
The Jets' Darrelle Revis and the Packers' Charles Woodson were the first-team cornerbacks, while Nnamdi Asomugha of Oakland and Asante Samuel of Philadelphia were also on the second team with Hall.
No other Bengals made the first or second team, but offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth did receive votes.
Former Bearcat Trent Cole, now with the Eagles, also made the second team as a defensive end.

Johnathan Joseph
"Carson is consistently gracious in respecting the job we do, and I think ultimately it reflects his respect of Bengals fans," said PFWA local chairman Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer. "It's extremely important to us that as the team leader, he sets such an example, and that we are able to bring our readers the information about him that they so strongly desire."
Hall, Joseph and Palmer will receive their awards from the PFWA on the first day of offseason conditioning workouts in late March.
This is the eighth year the Cincinnati PFWA has named an MVP. Past winners were QB Jon Kitna (2002-03), HB Rudi Johnson (2004), QB Carson Palmer (2005), OT Willie Anderson (2006) and WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh (2007-08).
Carson Palmer
Palmer, Houshmandzadeh and Anderson have all won both the MVP and the Good Guy awards.
CNati.com staff writers C. Trent Rosecrans and Scott Priestle were among the voters for the award.
