Despite an AFC North title, the Bengals were the only team in the division not represented when Pro Bowl rosters were announced on Tuesday night. The Ravens had five players picked for the game and the Steelers and Browns two each.
On Monday, one of the Bengals candidates, Johnathan Joseph, said he didn't expect to be selected. His fellow conrerback, Leon Hall, said he hadn't given much thought to the Pro Bowl.
The game will be played before the Super Bowl in Miami for the first this year. Chad Ochocinco said on Twitter that it didn't matter no Bengals made the Pro Bowl.
"Just been informed myself nor any of my teammates made the Pro Bowl-bengal fans we wouldn't be abe to play in it anyway! SUPER BOWL BABY!!!" Ochocinco wrote.
The Ravens were represented by RB Ray Rice, FB Le'Ron McClain, DT Haloti Ngata, LB Ray Lewis and S Ed Reed. The Steelers had two players picked, LB James Harrison and DT Casey Hampton. The Browns' OT Joe Thomas and returner Joshua Cribbs.
The Bengals' had several candidates, including RB Cedric Benson, Ochocinco, Joseph, Hall and offensive linemen Bobbie Williams and Kyle Cook. Middle linebacker Dhani Jones also had a strong case for the squad.

Could this be seen as a good thing since then many players do not hit their bonus thus saves room in the salary cap..... if we would ever spend up to the cap

The only person this is good for is Mike Brown who won't have to pay bonuses and probably will pay less in raises or renegotiations of contracts. What a joke!
