Junior center Andy Miele was just the second Miamian to record four or more points in a game this season when he scored two goals and assisted on two others during the RedHawks' 10-4 win on Saturday.
But Miele was the first RedHawk in 2009-10 to finish a game with multiple goals and assists.
Junior forward Tommy Wingels notched five points - four goals and an assist - on Dec. 11 in a 6-0 win at Ohio State.
STREAKING HAWKS: Miele scored a goal on Friday and two more on Saturday, giving him just the second three-game scoring streak of the season for Miami.
Miele has recorded four goals and two assists during that span.
Junior center Carter Camper had goals in three consecutive games Nov. 21-28 vs. Western Michigan, Bemidji State and North Dakota.
Also over the weekend, Camper and Wingels extended their points streaks, but their assist streaks both came to an end.
Camper's five-game assist streak was halted on Friday, and Wingels' was stopped at six games on Saturday. Both have recorded points in seven straight games, equaling the team's longest points streaks this season, set by Wingels Nov. 28-Jan. 10.
Wingels began his current streak the game after his first one was broken. He has 10 points (four goals and six assists) in the last seven games. In the last 15 games, he has 10 goals and 11 assists for 21 points.
Camper has three goals and eight assists during his points streak.
Miele and senior Jarod Palmer have points in five straight games.
SPEAKING OF WINGELS: Wingels set a career scoring mark with his two-point weekend.
Wingels now has 14 goals and 17 assists for 31 points this season. His previous best was 29 points in 2007-08.
FIRST GOALS OF THE SEASON: Defensemen Will Weber and Vincent LoVerde scored their first goals of the season on Saturday.
Weber, a sophomore, now has four goals for his career. LoVerde, a junior, has never missed a game in three seasons, and his goal was his second as a Miamian.
EVEN THE GOALIE JOINS IN THE OFFENSE: A hockey rarity, sophomore goalie Connor Knapp recorded a pair of assists on Saturday. Knapp had not previously recorded a helper in his Miami career.
Only six RedHawks goalies have ever even notched multiple assists in a season. Most recently, Charlie Effinger has a pair in 2006-07.
Richard Shulmistra set the school record by posting six in 1992-93.
IRON MAN: Palmer is quickly moving up Miami's all-time games-played list. Palmer has played in all 155 games since joining the team in 2006-07, tied for fifth in RedHawks history.
Palmer can tie Ryan Jones if he plays all six remaining regular season games, and can break the team record in Miami's first CCHA Tournament game.
Palmer also had a three-assist game on Saturday, giving him three three-point games this season. That ties him with Wingels for the team lead.
FIRST MULTI-POINT GAMES: Freshman defenseman Steven Spinell and freshman forward Devin Mantha recorded their first-ever multi-point games on Saturday.
Spinell picked up a pair of assists, giving him three helpers in his last three games after having none in his first 16 games.
Mantha notched a goal and an assist. The goal was the second of his career, with the other coming on Oct. 10 vs. St. Cloud State.
Freshman defenseman Joe Hartman had a goal and an assist for his second multi-point game, and LoVerde - who also went 1-1-2 - recorded the second two-point game of his career.
100-POINT CLUB: Palmer moved up five places on the all-time Miami scoring list by dishing for four assists over the weekend.
Palmer jumped from 28th to 23rd place with 121 career points (40-81-121), passing assistant coach Chris Bergeron, Derek Edwardson, Greg Hogeboom, Matt Christie and Tim Leahy.
Camper has two goals and an assist, leaping from a tie for 35th to a tie for 31st. He has 47 career goals and 67 assists for 114 points.
