NOTES: Miami has played Nebraska-Omaha every season since the Mavericks joined the conference in 1999-2000, but this will be the last meeting between these teams in regular season CCHA play.
UNO is leaving the CCHA in favor of the WCHA after this season.
Miami is unbeaten in its last 11 games vs. Nebraska-Omaha (10-0-1), and has won five straight at home vs. the Mavericks.
Nebraska-Omaha has won three straight games, including a series sweep last weekend vs. Michigan, but the Mavericks are just 3-10-3 on the road and 2-9-1 away from home in conference games.
UNO has one of the most balanced sets of forwards in the CCHA. Seven Mavericks have between 20 and 22 points.
Juniors Rich Purslow and Joey Martin, and sophomore John Kemp are all tied for the team lead with 22 points, and senior Jeric Agosta, freshman Terry Broadhurst and junior Matt Ambroz all have 21.
Agosta leads the team with 14 goals, and Martin's two-goal, one-assist game keyed last Friday's win over Michigan.
On defense, senior Eddie Del Grosso also has 22 points on five goals and 17 assists, but junior Eric Olimb is the only other Mavericks blueliner with more than seven points. Olimb has two goals and 13 assists for 15 points.
The other four regular starters have two goals and 12 assists between them.
Sophomore John Faulkner has logged about two-thirds of Nebraska-Omaha's minutes in net. Faulkner is 12-8-4 with a 2.51 goals-against average and a .907 save percentage.
Faulkner will likely start both games, especially since senior Jeremie Dupont has a 3.14 GAA and .882 save percentage.
Faulkner has started all three games during UNO's current winning streak. Dupont started the previous game and allowed five goals in a 5-5 tie vs. Ohio State.
