Miami's 1-0-1 record at Alaska over the weekend paired with Denver losing and tying against Wisconsin resulted in the RedHawks reclaiming the top spot in all three major college hockey polls.
Miami tied Alaska, 1-1 on Friday but buried the Nanooks, 5-0 in the series finale on Saturday.
Denver - which was No. 1 in all three polls last week - tied Wisconsin, 3-3 on Friday then lost to the Badgers, 4-3 on Saturday in Madison.
As a result, Wisconsin claimed the second spot in all three polls and Denver dropped to third.
-- Miami was second to Denver in the Inside College Hockey poll last week, and fourth two weeks ago. Wisconsin moved from third to second, Denver dropped two places to third, North Dakota jumped from seventh to fourth and Cornell remained fifth.
-- Miami, Denver and Wisconsin were pretty close in the U.S. College Hockey Online poll, but the RedHawks dominated the first-place voting.
Miami earned 37 of 50 votes for No. 1, with Wisconsin getting eight and Denver five. Last week Denver got 39 and Miami 11.
The RedHawks leads by 46 voting points with 984 - Wisconsin has 938 and Denver 917. Denver held a 32-point lead over Miami, 989-957 last week.
North Dakota is also fourth in the USCHO poll, and St. Cloud State - which Miami swept at home on Oct. 9-10 - jumped seven spots to fifth after sweeping Minnesota.
-- Miami got 30 of 34 first-place votes in the USA Today poll, with Wisconsin receiving three and Denver earning the other. The RedHawks got 10 of 34 votes last week and Denver received the rest.
Miami was just 17 voting points back of Denver last week, but the RedHawks now lead Wisconsin by 35, 507-472. Denver has 446.
North Dakota and St. Cloud State are also Nos. 4-5 in that poll.
