Miami remained atop two of the three major college hockey polls, and moved up one spot to second in the other.

The RedHawks, who beat Notre Dame, 1-0 and 4-0 at home last weekend, remain No. 1 in both the U.S. College Hockey Online and USA Today polls, and improved from third in the Inside College Hockey power rankings.

Denver, which went 1-0-1 against Colorado College in a home-and-home series last weekend, holds the top spot in the INCH rankings, and is second in the USCHO and USA Today polls. North Dakota is third in all three.

-- Miami traded places with North Dakota in the INCH rankings. Cornell and Bemidji State round out the top five.

-- The RedHawks received 36 of 50 first-place votes in the USCHO poll, up from 20 last week. Miami's lead is now 21 points after slipping to 11 a week ago.

Denver earned 11 votes for first, and North Dakota three. Bemidji State is fourth, and got two, and fifth-ranked Cornell received the other.

-- Miami got 29 of 34 votes for No. 1 in the USA Today poll, and its points margin increased to 27. Last week, the RedHawks led by 13 points and had 18 of 34 first-place votes.

Denver received five votes for the top spot, and North Dakota got three. Bemidji State and Cornell are fourth and fifth, respectively.
