San Jose Sharks defenseman Dan Boyle had two goals and three assists in four games in the past week, including a game-winner vs. Nashville on Tuesday.

His wrister against the Predators with 59.4 seconds left in regulation slipped through the five hole of Dan Ellis to break a 3-3 tie.

Boyle also had an assist in that game, and notched a goal and a helper vs. Pittsburgh in his previous game vs. Pittsburgh.

The goal against the Penguins gave him 100 goals in the NHL between the regular season and playoffs. He now has 96 career regular-season goals, second all-time among former Miamians.

NHL: Defenseman Andy Greene recorded his second goal of the season as well as two assists in three games for the Devils.

Greene's goal, which came on Nov. 7 at Ottawa, broke a 2-2 tie at 7:20 of the third period and was an eventual game-winner.

Greene currently has points in three straight games.

AHL: Forward Mike Glumac scored his first goal of the season for Hamilton in a 4-1 loss at Rochester.

-- It took 12 games, but forward Justin Mercier finally recorded his first professional point. Mercier assisted on Lake Erie's first goal in a 3-2 loss vs. Toronto.

-- Forward Ernie Hartlieb received a call-up to the AHL, and scored in his first game with Rochester. Unfortunately, he was released from his PTO on Nov. 9.

ECHL: Defenseman Mitch Ganzak had not scored a goal this season, but he made his first one count.

Ganzak scored his first goal of the season on Nov. 7, an overtime winner that lifted Wheeling past Johnstown, 4-3. He also assisted on the first goal of that game and went plus-2.

-- Defenseman Kevin Roeder was placed on the three-day IR by Cincinnati on Nov. 6, and has not played since.

CHL: Forward Bill Loupee notched his second goal of the season, and forward Nino Musitelli recorded a pair of assists in two games for Allen.

Goaltender Charlie Effinger lost his only start, falling to 3-2 on the season.

Europe: Most European teams were off this week. Forward Evan Cheverie was the only former RedHawk to play, and he scored his eighth goal of the season for Belfast.
